Based on prepared mechanical systems and using simple structures and commonplace materials like wood and nylon, Forīs opens up both imaginary and allegorical dimensions of the outdoors in sound, sculpture and space, inviting the audience to participate in an acoustic experience. This collaboration between Fine Arts and Media Arts staff and students explores the relationships of the artificial and the organic.
